Just a few people that stood out were Aaron, overnight auditor Frankie who worked 3-11 Brooke, the day manager and Derek the General Manager. The only reason I gave the hotel an overall 4 stars, is the building is in need of repair. If I could give the staff 10 stars I would. Throughout the entire stay the staff treated us like one of their own constantly talking and asking about out family. Due to the nature of what was happening, our stay was extended several times and it was a confusing time, but the staff stayed on top of it with us and we were taking care of no problem. Everything was taken care of as we needed no problem, even with 2 families having service dogs. Part of the confusion is my son and I have the same name. The first night I explained what was happening and how we would need the rooms, even asking for an adjoining room. I reserved 3 rooms for family coming in and knew that it would be confusing when we arrived getting everything straight. The boathouse, added in the 1920s, was removed so that visitors could see and pass through the original sally port entrance constructed in 1857. We had to go to Roswell for a family emergency. The National Park Service completed major repairs to the guardhouse, with special attention paid to improving the structure's ability to withstand earthquakes.
